If you share the dongle with a colleague or family member, and they did not properly disconnect, the Bluetooth stack can become locked. When you try to connect, the server sees the dongle as already in use—effectively offline to you.

Thinkdiag pushes frequent updates to add new vehicle coverage and fix bugs. If you auto-update your phone’s apps but neglect to update the dongle’s firmware, a version mismatch can occur.
