Thinkdiag is designed to be used with a single mobile device at a time. If you share the dongle with a colleague or family member, and they did not properly disconnect, the Bluetooth stack can become locked. When you try to connect, the server sees the dongle as already in use—effectively offline to you.
Thinkdiag pushes frequent updates to add new vehicle coverage and fix bugs. If you auto-update your phone’s apps but neglect to update the dongle’s firmware, a version mismatch can occur. Never just unplug the dongle while the app is open. Always tap the or "Exit Vehicle" button inside ThinkDiag. This sends a "session closed" signal to the LAUNCH server.
